Asimily adds 'In Flight' tier to scale IoT security
Asimily has expanded its global partner programme with a new tier, In Flight, aimed at partners delivering security services for internet of things (IoT), operational technology (OT) and internet of medical things (IoMT) environments.
In Flight sits above Asimily's existing LAUNCH tier and is part of a broader partner strategy focused on organisations managing large fleets of connected devices across enterprise and industrial settings.
The tier is intended for partners that have completed onboarding and early commercial growth under LAUNCH. Asimily said these partners have shown revenue growth, customer expansion and technical maturity, and will transition into In Flight.
Partner progression
LAUNCH has served as Asimily's structured path for activating strategic partners, covering onboarding, technical integration and go-to-market collaboration.
Under the updated structure, LAUNCH remains the entry point for new strategic partners. In Flight becomes the next stage for partners that move beyond initial deployments and demonstrate consistent delivery across customer environments.
Asimily linked the change to rising demand for visibility and risk reduction across connected environments. Many organisations are expanding connected device deployments alongside broader digital transformation and operational modernisation programmes. This has increased focus on how security teams identify and manage exposure in networks that include IT systems and devices more commonly associated with facilities, production lines and clinical care.
Enablement focus
Partners in the In Flight tier will receive deeper technical collaboration, advanced training and expanded joint go-to-market support. Asimily said the tier will also provide cross-domain enablement across IoT, OT and IoMT, reflecting the mix of assets found in many organisations.
Asimily positions its offering as a cyber asset and exposure management platform for IT, IoT, OT and IoMT, focused on asset visibility and exposure management across connected devices and systems. Exposure management has become a key focus for security leaders facing limited time and resources as the number of connected assets grows.
Connected environments also bring operational constraints that are less common in traditional IT security operations. Industrial control systems and medical devices can have long lifecycles and limited maintenance windows. Organisations often need a detailed understanding of where devices sit in clinical or industrial workflows before taking remediation action.
"As connected environments grow more complex across every industry, our partners are central to delivering security at scale," said Shankar Somasundaram, CEO of Asimily. "In Flight recognizes the partners who have successfully launched, achieved measurable growth, and are ready to take the next step in securing the expanding landscape of IoT, OT, and IoMT devices and environments."
Sector demand
Asimily said the updated partner model targets customers across enterprise and operational sectors including healthcare, energy, retail and manufacturing. It also pointed to industrial markets where connected estates span corporate IT networks and operational networks that run sites and production.
Security teams in regulated environments face additional compliance and reporting requirements, along with pressure to reduce risk without disrupting services. These organisations often rely on third parties for managed security services, integration and ongoing support. The expanded tier structure reflects the extent to which security vendors depend on channel and services partners for deployment and operationalisation, particularly in OT and IoMT environments.
InfoSight, a cybersecurity and risk management services provider, is among the partners referenced in the announcement.
"Our clients in heavily-regulated sectors including healthcare, critical infrastructure, and manufacturing are deploying thousands of connected devices that traditional security tools were never built to handle," said Tom Garcia, President and CEO of InfoSight. "Partnering with Asimily has given us the asset intelligence and risk context we need to thoroughly and continuously protect those environments, and the In Flight tier gives us the resources to bring that capability to more organizations faster. We deliver round-the-clock managed security across complex IT and OT infrastructure, so the solutions we bring in have to hold up to that same standard."
Channel strategy
The introduction of In Flight formalises Asimily's partner lifecycle, moving from onboarding and initial collaboration to an accelerated phase for partners that have demonstrated growth. Asimily described the combined LAUNCH and In Flight structure as a growth-driven framework intended to scale delivery across connected ecosystems.
Asimily said it will continue bringing new partners into LAUNCH globally while moving proven partners into In Flight as they expand across customer environments. Next steps include building out its ecosystem in line with demand for security coverage across IoT, OT and IoMT deployments in enterprise and industrial markets.
