Kubus bolsters leadership with new marketing & HR heads

Tue, 16th Dec 2025

Kubus has expanded its senior leadership team with new heads of marketing and human resources as it prepares for further growth in global IT infrastructure and managed services.

The UK-based networking and IT infrastructure provider has appointed Katie Hunt as Head of Marketing and promoted long-serving executive Liv Duncan to Head of HR.

The company said the appointments form part of a plan for sustainable growth. It is also seeking stronger alignment between its commercial, operational, and people strategies.

New marketing lead

Hunt joins Kubus from roles at CAE Technology Services and Schurter Electronics. She will lead the company's marketing function and work with teams across the business.

Her remit includes marketing strategy, campaign execution, and partner engagement. It also includes closer collaboration with sales and a focus on customer insight.

Hunt will build and mentor a marketing team. The company expects this team to scale with business growth.

She will also support the leadership team with a revised approach to sales enablement. The company said she will act as an internal advocate for customer needs and feedback.

Hunt said the role comes at an important moment for the business.

"Being made Head of Marketing at Kubus at such a pivotal time for the company is a genuinely exciting opportunity for me," said Katie Hunt, Head of Marketing, Kubus. "My focus is on driving a strategy that not only supports our sales team in delivering tangible results but also deepens and strengthens our relationships with partners and clients. By listening to the voice of the customer and fostering collaboration across our internal teams, we can build a brand experience that reflects the technical excellence and trust that Kubus is known for."

HR leadership shift

Duncan takes on the role of Head of HR after more than six years at Kubus. She previously worked at recruitment specialist Hays.

She will lead recruitment and onboarding across the company. Her focus will be on employee development and performance.

Duncan will work on processes that support staff in new and existing roles. The company said this includes hiring, induction, and ongoing engagement.

She will also work closely with Hunt on internal communications. The aim is to ensure staff understand company priorities and have clear information channels.

Duncan said the company's culture will remain central as the business expands.

"Having been part of the Kubus journey for over six years, I am very proud to take on the role of Head of HR," said Liv Duncan. "Our culture is one of our strongest assets, and I am committed to nurturing that environment as we grow. I look forward to refining our recruitment and onboarding processes to ensure every team member can maximise their potential, and to working closely with Katie to ensure our internal communications keep our people connected, supported, and empowered."

Channel market context

Kubus operates in the IT channel, which is undergoing structural change as customers move towards managed services and complex networking solutions.

The company provides networking and IT infrastructure solutions as well as managed services. It works with business customers that need support with deployment and management of IT systems.

Kubus says it has built a reputation in areas such as technical expertise and agility. It positions itself as a partner for organisations that want external support with infrastructure projects.

Chief Executive Officer Jeremy Keefe said the leadership changes reflect the company's ambitions in this market.

"At a time when the IT Channel is continuing to go through systemic changes, Kubus has continued to build a fantastic reputation based on technical expertise, agility, and a strong commitment to clients," said Jeremy Keefe, CEO of Kubus. "The appointment of Katie and Liv is a testament to our ambition. I am looking forward to working with them and the wider talented Kubus team to drive sales, fully leverage the benefits of recent investments, and build on the company's core strengths to become a truly global IT infrastructure and managed services partner."
