Wed, 29th May 2024

Cyclone has been awarded the status of Apple Authorised Education Specialist (AAES) in New Zealand. The recognition underscores Cyclone's thirty-year dedication to supporting various educational levels in the country, ranging from Early Childhood and Primary to Secondary and Higher Education institutes.

This prestigious accolade highlights Cyclone's consistent focus on delivering positive outcomes in education, evidenced by their supply, financing, deployment and management of Apple devices such as MacBooks and iPads. Additionally, Cyclone extends its services to include Apple Professional Learning Specialists, who provide guidance and advice as part of their educator training programmes.

Recent developments within Cyclone's Apple Practice Team include the appointment of Mark Herring as the Apple Education Specialist. In this role, Herring works closely with school leaders to formulate strategic plans aimed at maximising the value of Apple products in educational settings. "Schools are often wondering how they can get more from the technology they invest in and I love supporting them to do more with their Apple devices," Herring stated. He further added, "I love the role we play in partnering with school leaders to both assess where they are, navigate a path towards improved innovation, and measure that progress over time."

With an increasing emphasis from customers on improving the device experience for end users, Cyclone leverages its technical expertise in areas such as Single Sign On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for seamless delivery on Apple devices. Campbell Guise, Apple Professional Services Lead, expressed his enthusiasm for the new status: "As an AAES for New Zealand, I am excited about the opportunity to work more closely with Apple and showcase our advanced Mac management skills by bringing seamless deployments, identity integration and end user enablement to all of our education customers."

Dan Norton, National Sales Manager for Cyclone, also reflected on the company's new achievement. "Cyclone are extremely proud to have achieved the prestige of being awarded Apple Authorised Education Specialist accreditation. This significant milestone underscores Cyclone's unwavering commitment to delivering innovation and impactful education experiences across New Zealand," he commented.
