Crown Fibre Holdings CEO role - wide open

Tue, 13th Oct 2009
FYI, this story is more than a year old

Programme Manager for Broadband Investment Ralph Chivers won’t be applying for the CEO position of Crown Fibre Holdings .He has advised MED management of his decision not to apply and wanted it publically known he’s not a contender.Chivers was voted the third most influential person in New Zealand telecommunications by the Telecommunications Review judging panel earlier this month. The article in the October edition reads:"Having proven his mettle as Chief Executive of the Telecommunications Carriers Forum, Ralph Chivers tackled one of the most interesting jobs in telco this year. Tasked with transforming the March cabinet paper into a workable document, the final plan charts a careful middle path between a national solution and a regionally based approach. Will this consummate bureaucrat be rewarded with the chief executive position of Crown FIbre Holdings, the company formed to enact the plan? Does he want the job?"
