Shure introduces MXA902 conferencing kit for modern offices

Wed, 20th Nov 2024

Shure has introduced the MXA902 + ANIUSB-MATRIX Audio Conferencing Kit, aiming to facilitate easier deployment and enhanced audio performance in Microsoft Teams and Zoom Rooms.

The company announced that the new Audio Conferencing Kit is a single, pre-routed package that includes the MXA902 Ceiling Array Microphone with a built-in loudspeaker and the ANIUSB-MATRIX Audio Network Interface. The kit is designed to deliver seamless connectivity to popular conferencing platforms and is certified for Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms.

Sean Bowman, Associate Vice President of Sales, North America, at Shure, highlighted the growing need for superior audio solutions in modern workplaces, stating, "With rising demand for better collaboration experiences in modern workplaces, IT managers require superior audio solutions to enrich communication, while maintaining simplicity in installation and operation. The new Audio Conferencing Kit streamlines deployment and management, easily providing the flagship audio quality Shure is known for. This kit includes all the essentials for IT managers and end users, shipped pre-routed in a single, convenient box for easy setup."

The Audio Conferencing Kit is intended for small to medium-sized rooms that require the acoustic performance offered by a ceiling-mounted microphone. The MXA902 Ceiling Array Mic and Loudspeaker provide voice capture and far-end speech reproduction within a single device. With built-in IntelliMix digital signal processing (DSP), this package aims to offer AV conferencing audio without noise and echo, eliminating the requirement for additional DSP hardware.

The ANIUSB-MATRIX Interface offers USB or networked connectivity, suitable for room PCs or personal devices running conferencing platforms. This feature allows for rapid deployment in spaces up to 20'x20'. The kit also supports larger spaces by allowing IT partners to scale by integrating additional Shure Microflex Ecosystem devices or by connecting to existing compatible in-room solutions.

The simplicity of the Audio Conferencing Kit's setup means integrators do not need technical certification to sell or install the system. This flexibility is designed to shorten setup times, reduce compatibility issues, and ensure consistent performance.
