Yealink debuts hybrid work audio gear at Officeworks
Yealink has launched two new audio devices in Australia for hybrid workers, with the SP92 Bluetooth speakerphone and BH71 Pro wireless headset now sold through Officeworks.
The company positions the products around clearer voice pickup in noisy settings. Yealink said the devices target workers who move between office, home and travel locations, where background sound can affect meetings and client calls.
Speakerphone features
The Yealink SP92 is a Bluetooth speakerphone built around an omnidirectional microphone. Yealink said it captures voices from any direction at up to four metres.
SP92 includes noise cancellation, which Yealink describes as AI-powered. The company said it reduces background distractions from home or office environments during calls.
Yealink mentioned the speakerphone also uses full-duplex audio. This keeps both sides of a conversation active at the same time, rather than cutting off speech when people talk over each other.
SP92 also includes acoustic echo cancellation, according to Yealink. The company said this reduces feedback and echo during calls.
On playback, Yealink noted the SP92 uses 50 mm speakers. The company said it delivers wider sound and supports wideband audio.
For connectivity, Yealink said the SP92 connects via USB plug-and-play or Bluetooth. It also ships with a BT51-C adaptor. Yealink mentioned the speakerphone works with more than 100 communications platforms and operating systems.
Yealink said the SP92 offers up to 20 hours of wireless talk time. It positioned the device as portable for use across different work locations.
Headset positioning
The BH71 Pro is a mono Bluetooth wireless headset. Yealink said it targets users who need a headset rather than a speakerphone in shared or mobile environments.
Yealink disclosed that the BH71 Pro uses a four-microphone array with beamforming noise cancellation. The company said it eliminates 90% of background noise from the surrounding environment.
The BH71 Pro has a Bluetooth wireless range of up to 40 metres, according to Yealink. The headset maintains stable connections in high-interference workspaces.
Yealink said the BH71 Pro weighs less than 18 grams. It features an adjustable ear hook that suits an all-day wear design.
Battery life is split between the headset and its charging case. Yealink said the headset can provide 10 hours of wireless talk time, with an extra 20 hours stored in the case.
Yealink said the BH71 Pro supports dual connectivity with smartphones and computers. It also noted the headset is UC certified and includes controls for answering, rejecting and adjusting volume.
Pricing and channel
Officeworks lists the Yealink SP92 Bluetooth Speakerphone with a recommended price of AUD $149.99. The Yealink BH71 Pro USB-C&A Bluetooth Wireless Mono Headset lists at AUD $269.99.
Yealink said both products have recently been introduced to Australian resellers and sit within its broader line-up of communication devices. The company referenced interoperability certifications with IP phones, softphones and communications platforms.
Broader portfolio
Alongside the new models, Yealink highlighted several existing product families. It said the UH Series USB wired headsets and WH Series DECT wireless headsets suit office, call centre and work-from-home settings.
Yealink also indicated its BH Series Bluetooth headsets and SP Series speakerphones for co-working spaces, private offices and home offices. The company said Bluetooth headsets are fit for people who take calls while moving between locations.
"Yealink's noise-cancelling SP92 speakerphone and BH71 Pro headset ensure that hybrid workers enjoy crystal clear conversations, whatever their surroundings."
Yealink said it plans to continue expanding its range of communication devices offered through Australian resellers.
